CE Week, the annual showcase of consumer electronica, is coming to town June 26-27 at the Altman Center, on 18th Street in Manhattan. It’s a teeny version of its big brother, the mammoth CES in Vegas, but you can still see some interesting about-to-happen things. There’ll be all the usual corporate suspects from the audio-visual industry.
And they’ve added some new mini-conferences, including one centered on Fashionware–wearable technology. There will be a runway show, in case you thought otherwise. Other things of interest: discussions and events centered around consumer car technology, health devices, and “second screen” applications.
I’ll be at CEW for a bit–blogging’s been light lately due to other commitments–and I plan on doing a post.
