Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stop by and chat with Open Garden at TechCrunch Disrupt two weeks ago. They had interesting news about an enterprise version of OG, which I think is a great idea. They have more good news today. But this all depends on how you feel about Google Glass.
Anyway, Open Garden has applied their special multi-hop mesh networking to Glass. OG eliminates a time-wasting BlueTooth pairing step and then setting up tethering on your smartphone. Lord knows, you’ll probably have more than enough to do getting Google Glass to work.;-)
Still, for my money, this is a good example of how Open Garden makes mobile gadgets more usable. And with over 2 million downloads of their apps, lots of people agree.
