Reuters reports that the Royal Wedding, scheduled for April 29, will be live streamed on YouTube over the The Royal Channel.
Remote commoners will be able to watch and even interact with all the pomp and ceremony.
I followed the link from the Reuters article to the official royal wedding website (http://www.officialroyalwedding2011.org) to learn that “live updates and unique material from the wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton will be released through a range of online platforms.”
There’s an official twitter handle of course, @ClarenceHouse, a live multi-media blog, and Google, software provider to her majesty, has even chipped in with a live-stream widget.
God Save Google. God Save Twitter. God Save the Platform!
