Mission Fifty, the new Hoboken co-working space, is well on the way to opening its door to NJ coworkers.
The principals involved— Michael Pierce, Gregg Dell’Aquila, and HTM’s Aaron Price—already have the space lined up, at 50 Harrison Street. It’s now just a matter of working out the details of what the coworking community is interested in, office-wise
Are you phone- or IM-centric, prefer meetings behind doors or at the nearest cluttered desk?
The Mission Fifty team wants to know. I had a chance to express my opinions and heard had what others thought at last night’s pre-meeting launch party.
While the focus of Mission Fifty is on a shared environment, there will be some private office and conference rooms. The goal is to start with around 50 or so tech and creative folks who want to tap into the energy pool of like-minded peers.
The Mission team realizes we all have our notions of office boundaries. From what I gathered, there’ll be both open desks of varying sizes and more cube-like dwellings, and I’m guessing the phone-centric types will have a separate neighborhood. Maybe they’ll consider a small sub-development for bloggers? 😉
I hoping to get a tour of this first-ever Hoboken coworking space in a month or so, and I’ll share the pics.
