Mini-Incubation Space Courtesy of MetroFlats

One of the benefits of  joining Hoboken Tech Meetup is learning about tech startup activity and entrepreneurial opportunities on the other side of the Hudson. Sometimes, as is the case with Bubbalon (Montclair), you come upon an exciting recommendation and rating service practically down the street.  I was  surprised and delighted yet again to discover another startup in a nearby town.   MetroFlats.com (Cedar Grove, near Montclair) is a vacation rental marketplace that provides a less-expensive hotel alternative for travelers.

According to a posting on HTM—btw, if you’re a NJ developer, entrepreneur, or angel investor you should join HTM immediately—MetroFlats is looking to rent out part of its space (at a discount) to another startup.

MetroFlat’s VP of Product Development, Shamoon Siddiqui, says they’re looking to gain some synergies with another emerging tech company, not even necessarily in the same business area.  Shamoon even has a few pictures of the work space posted on the Metroflats blog.

If you’re interested in sharing space with another NJ startup and tapping into a pool of synergistic startup energy, email Shamoon (his name at Metroflats).

By the way, Metroflats is very close to  Montclair, which  is an added bonus in terms of shopping, restaurants, and a high concentration of coffee and tea spots.
