Live From MissionFifty

I came back to MissionFifty yesterday during its extended open-house week—i.e, it’s free—to use Hoboken’s first coworking space as my base of operations for the day.

I got work done, handled a few phone calls, took those pictures I promised of the open office space, and learned about a shortcut into the Lincoln Tunnel helix that cut off 30 minutes of my commute time into Manhattan.

It was a good day.

As I had mentioned in a post from last week, Fifty is still a work in progress.

So expect to see a few loose ends—unfinished drop ceiling, that kind of thing. They could also use some greenery and plant life (hint) and a throw rug or two to make it a little more comfy. But the accessorizing will come in time.

Overall, this is a conveniently located Jersey-based coworking oassis, near highway and mass transit. I’m considering purchasing some time here over the next few months. And if you’re a developer, entrepreneur, or creative type, who lives and works in the Hoboken environs, you should too.

Check out the slideshow below (hat tip to Adam Saynuk, a far better photographer than me, for some of his pics).
