I tried  Microsoft’s Office in the cloud last month as a beta user, and I’ve managed to somehow since get my work done without Office 365.

I was informed this morning through an email that the product is out of beta and “At this point you will have 30 days to make a decision to buy.”

While Office 365 may make sense for medium-ish businesses with an existing investment in Softie’s infrastructure, you can count me out.

I will continue to use Google Documents and other exciting, well designed freemium software produced by the creative minds working at startups.
