Microsoft has introduced its new smartphone OS at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. It’s a complete tear down of Microsoft Mobile, and in its stead is a cleaner, “chromeless” experience.  Engadget has a review of the new UI for the Windows  Phone 7 Series (that’s the new name).  So if the fact that Microsoft developers can do some nifty design work when their backs are to the walls is exciting news to  you  (Editor: it’s exciting to me and lots of others.  You’re being a tad hard), then by all means check out these pics.
