Silicon Alley Insider has the dish on Apple replacing Google with Microsoft’s Bing on the iPhone. No one’s taking any of this very seriously. Still it’s fun and frightening to think about where all this could lead: iWord, iExcel, iPowerPoint. Ich. (Editor’s note: Actually, DataViz has an iPhone app called Documents to Go that does all of that.)
even an old version of Documents to Go for my even older Treo has let me edit docs on my mobile, which has comes in handy more often than I thought it would. It’s basic, but extremely useful.
